About

The Short Version

Hi, I’m Michael. I’m a Christian who spent too many years doing religion instead of enjoying the relationship — and God, in His mercy, changed that.

The God OS framework: Worship, Word, and Walk built on the Gospel, powered by the Holy Spirit

For a long time I lived as a Christian who followed some of the rules, checked some of the boxes, but often missed the actual core of Christianity: a living, daily, joy-filled relationship with the God who is crazy about us. During a time of loss, I cried out to God — really cried out — and rediscovered what I had been missing all those years. Not new theology. Not a new church program. Just Him: the joy, the closeness, and the transforming power of actually spending time with God every day.

He has been building God OS ever since. This site, the daily worksheet, the app — all of it grew out of that season, and all of it exists for one purpose: to help you experience the same thing. One day I’ll share the fuller story as a testimony post. For now, the short version says it all: He met me where I was. He’ll meet you where you are, too.

What Is God OS?

God OS is a simple daily framework for abiding in Christ, built on four pillars: Worship, Word, Walk, and the Gospel that powers it all. It’s a system, not a list of rules — the power source is God Himself, never our willpower. The best introduction is the overview post, and the fastest way to start is ten minutes with God today using the free app or a printable worksheet.

Our Mission

God OS exists to bring people closer to God by helping them actually spend time with Him.

The fuller version: God OS exists to bring people closer to God by helping them actually spend time with Him — daily, honestly, and in a way they can sustain on their worst day. We do that by putting simple tools in their hands, free and without barriers, and by telling them the truth about who God is: not a grumpy old man keeping score, but a Father who is in love with them, who has already done everything necessary to make the relationship possible, and who supplies the power to live it.

He made you, He sent His Son to die for you, and He loves you beyond what you’re able to believe about yourself. The Gospel is finished work, not a debt you’re repaying. And the Holy Spirit — not willpower — is what grows anything that grows.

If someone leaves God OS with only one thing, it should be that God wants their company.

What We Believe

You deserve to know where this site stands before you invest your time here. God OS holds to the historic essentials of the Christian faith:

  • The Bible is the inspired Word of God — alive, true, and our final authority for faith and life (2 Timothy 3:16-17).
  • There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19).
  • Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life, died on the cross to pay for our sins, rose bodily from the dead, ascended to the Father, and will return (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).
  • Salvation is by grace alone, through faith alone, in Christ alone — a free gift that cannot be earned by good works (Ephesians 2:8-9).
  • The Holy Spirit lives in every believer, empowering, guiding, and transforming us to become more like Christ (John 14:26, Galatians 5:22-23).
  • Every person is made in God’s image, loved by Him, fallen into sin, and in need of the Savior (Romans 3:23, John 3:16).
  • The Church is the body of Christ, and every believer belongs in a local community of faith (Hebrews 10:24-25).
  • Eternity is real. Those who receive Christ have eternal life with God — which is why sharing the Gospel matters so much (John 1:12).

On secondary matters where faithful Christians genuinely differ — baptism practices, end-times details, worship styles, denominational distinctives — God OS deliberately doesn’t take sides. This is a framework for abiding in Christ, and it works whether your church has an organ, a drum kit, or both. If you love Jesus and want more of Him, you’re in the right place. If you don’t understand what loving God means yet, you’re definitely in the right place too.
